Besides waiting for DnL (see below) I was playing Star Craft and War Craft III on battle.net with hadoken and Akhwah anbd some others. Mordeo was so kind to offer some space on his teamspeak server so if you want to join up drop me a note and I'll hand out you the login info.

All games are usually just called auguststrasse and the default channel within battle.net for both games is the same, though we tend to communicate more via TS or ICQ.

Thursday was easy. Nothing to do, at least till the afternoon. There's been a "Frühlingsfest" in the City of KLF, "BIG" setup with serveral carnival fun rides. Well depends on how you define "big".

Anyway the local school (a "Gymnasium") seems to have a skater park and with that a local skate contest and afterwards some bands playing. I've not been to the skate contest, because it was slightly raining and it didn't interested me anyway but I visit the bands playing afterwards. Loud, mainly, funny and good never the less but it's kinda tiresome to listen to. Mostly more leaning toward the heavy and hardcore stuff with the first "group" being some freestylers. They where a little bit out of place it seems.

It all started at 4pm, I quit at 8 missing the last two bands. Feets and ears where hurting enough, though interesting was that it looked like one third of the school can skate, girls and boys.

Yes, I'm a little bit bored

I didn't get my S3 Vision 968 PCI graphic card working in my new compter. Somehow the MB BIOS doesn't like it when set to boot PCI graphic card first and freezes and when I'm booting with PCIe graphic card first, the S3 doesn't get any rescources. So no three screen options. I'll have to try it with my 2nd DVI out but currently somehow my TV is overriding access to it ... or the DVI to SUB-D converter is not good. Bah.

I'm going to try out the Dark and Light stress test. It's not that I have that much to do at the computer right now anyway.

I heared and knew about a deleted scene, where Luke was supposed to meet some friends at the Toshi station, but never have actually seen anything of it. It's just freaking awesome!

Further I'm trying to get my old university mates to hook up to the internet to get crushed under my defeating power in Star Craft/Broodwars and/or Warcraft III. I need some more competition ;-).

Warcraft III & Starcraft

I just love these games.
Just played another set of two Warcraft games vs. Hadoken, lost the first one in a pretty strategic move from him but the second was a victory for me again.
So with yesterdays games its 3 vs. 1 for me.
I hope we can get Starcraft running again as well and maybe some more people joining in.

Pretty nice and it will suit my needs for the next couple of years ... I hope. I had as I mentioned yesterday some trouble with one of my two 1GB RAM DIMMs but it's already on it's way back so I should get a replacement soon.

What else happened today?
Well busy day at work but it's nice to have something to do and we're making good progress - even though the results from my current test might kill my first project, but hey, that's not my fault. I didn't came up with that wierd idea, I'm just there to build it - if it's possible at all.

Training Kung Fu and Kickboxing, fun as hell but exhausting as hell as well. Doing twice one and a half in a row is realy straining but it rocks. I like it .... and I did my second turn on my new washing maschine LOL. Come one ! It's one of new toys so let me have some fun with it.

Weekend ...

Well I drove home again to visit a wedding and it was a very nice wedding and the wedding party was pretty cool as well. Met some people again I haven't seen a while and I had enough time to talk to a lot them. Danced a bit, at least as much as I can rememer the steps but it was all okay and fun even with the music beeing very odd but the midnight buffet was awesome.

So now I'm back and tested my new system, because I had some random crashes with it during Settlers of Ganareth. Memtest didn't reported any errors so I hoped it might have been just a buggy driver so something easy to fix, but my favourit geek recommended me to test it with Prime95 as well and yepp my favourit geek was right. One of the two RAM DIMMs I bought is faulty so here we go the reclamation tour. Shouldn't be a problem but it's annoying. Luckily I bought two 1GBs so I won't miss that much performance during that time.

Settlers of Ganareth will end tomorrow, sadly, because now that I finally have a computer able to run it, it shuts down, but on the other hand it does mean that Dark and Light can't be that far anymore.

My new case, my new washing machine

Both arrived today, my new computer case got delivered on day earlier as all the other parts so assembly will be tomorrow when everything else has arrived.

Pretty one isn't it? Two fans and a hopefully silent powersupply.

The maschine got delivered on time at 14:00 so I had to leave early at work *grin* my colleagues were making fun of me, when I offered to come back later. I'll catch up on the lost time probadly tomorrow and on thursday, though this cuts down the chance of leaving early on friday for a white russian.

First tour of cloth also got washed straight on and so far no water leak and all clothes are fine. I'll need some clothespins to dry everything. So much from here see you all soon!

In addition I was just soo hungry that I wanted to go home.

Another 1st

My first weekend in KLF and there is even an event going on in town during saturday and sunday. Though the weather is close to perfect I didn't felt like going out yesterday. I've been to an arnis workshop for three hours and pretty exhausted. I just chilled in my appartement and further unloaded stuff.

The evening was easy and lazy and I started abusing my telefon flat rate by bothering some friends on the phone just for fun ;). Anyway weather is going to hit 25° C today again, I need a comfy chair so I can take a sun bath on my balkon.
